The bluebird logo

I am a cancer survivor. When I was going through treatment, there were times I needed encouragement—just a little reassurance that everything was going to be OK. When I felt that way, suddenly, I would see bluebirds everywhere.

Bluebirds have always symbolized happiness to me. I would see them flying or hopping around while I was driving. A store I was visiting would just happen to have a new collection of bluebird products. An e-mail that just happened to have a bluebird in it would land in my inbox.

I still see bluebirds today when I need to see them. Some would say that because I am a positive person, I just notice the bluebirds already around me in a subconscious attempt to make myself feel better.  But, I think that it is the Big Man Upstairs' way of giving me a hug and a pat on the back. The bluebird logo is my way of thanking Him and helping Him do the same for other people.

Someday, if you are feeling a little down or discouraged, and you see the Allecia Michelle logo on a tag or inside your T-shirt, I hope it will reassure you that He loves you, too, and wants you to be happy.
